We both originally hail from the UK, Tara from England, and Ian from Scotland. We met at sea whilst working as officers for a large international cruise ship company – travelling around the world experiencing different cultures and visiting many countries. We in fact met on the original “Love Boat” cruise ship – The Island Princess; fell in love and the rest, as they say is history……A real shipboard romance!

Since moving to Australia over 25 years ago we have also travelled extensively around the country. With the sea in our blood, we have always lived near water, whether it be the sea or lake. Here at Moogerah, we wake up every day to these stunning water and mountain views. What could be better?

We have two children, who whilst away studying are substituted by our three faithful pups – Muttley and Pipi – a couple of friendly Labradoodles, and the newest addition – a  lively young Spoodle pup Coco. They are always up for a pat and a hello from our guests. You may from time to time see them around the property. They will be your friend for life if you throw a ball for them too.

NB – We are close by if you need us, but not in your face so you can enjoy the privacy and serenity of your country getaway. 

We are passionate about the region we live in and supporting our local community and businesses.
