Watch the stunning daily sunsets over the mountain ranges perhaps with a drink taken on the front balcony in the comfort of the outdoor lounge area. The back balcony overlooking the lush gardens is the best spot to enjoy a morning cuppa in the sunshine.
Each room has comfortable beds and crisp hotel grade linen.
There is an outdoor entertaining and al fresco dining terrace with bbq and pizza oven set against the mountain backdrop.
Relax after a hard day exploring in the tropical spa room under the bubbles of the 6-person hot tub/jacuzzi and twinkling fairy lights. It’s truly magical.
Cosy up around the outdoor fireplace and stargaze the Moogerah night skies. You may well see the Milky Way like you’ve never seen before.
Moogie House has full laundry facilities with washer and dryer.
The house is equipped with fans and/or reverse cycle air conditioners in all rooms. Well equipped kitchen with Miele appliances, dishwasher, oven and coffee machine.

Children & Infants
There is plenty of space for kids to run around and explore the entire property. You may see some local wildlife – the wedge tailed eagles, green tree frogs, hares and the rather timid local wallabies and roos, or even be lucky enough to sight one of our resident koalas!
Moogie House may not be suitable for safety reasons, for those with infants and toddlers due to stairs, balconies and unfenced gardens. As we do not provide any amenities for babies and toddlers you would need to bring your own.
Dogs
At Moogie House dogs are most welcome! Please advise at time of booking. As the property is un-fenced dogs will need to be supervised at all times.
Attending a Wedding?
Attending a wedding in the locality at one of the Scenic Rim’s top venues? No problem, Moogie House makes for ideal guest accommodation, accommodating up to 3 couples. We can even provide transfers to/from the wedding venue for you! (just ask how you can pre-book).
Notes
Moogie House is on tank water and septic please be aware of your environment and be waterwise. We use septic safe cleaning products.
Being located on a bush property please respect the native wildlife that lives here too. On the property there are also seasonal creeks and a waterfall that may flow at times. Please supervise young children at all times.
Guests may come across pets and experience a little “animal loving” during their stay. Three very friendly dogs – Muttley, Pipi and Coco live on the property. They may call by to say hello.
As we respect your privacy whilst staying, we will only call by and say “hello” if you need something. We are more than happy to pop by and provide any local recommendations. We are always contactable by phone or text during your stay also.
